The poster was made for a design class in college. I have it in here to show you a little bit about how I came to be a designer. Throughout high school it was my goal to be a civil engineer. I loved drafting & problem solving in space & creating things. My senior year an instructor introduced me to graphic design. It was great. It was everything I loved about drafting but it removed a lot of the restrictions that are put on engineers. It was a free & wonderful world of creation. This project was a bit of an homage to where I started. 

As far as the assignment part of this we were to select a topic & explain it in detail by use of illustration, text, graphs or whatever is most effective. For the class we were reading Edward Tufte's
